The Wizard of The Star Arcturus
Thirty-seven years ago, in a secluded grove, a babe was taken by his parents to a secret forest grotto. Fairies carried dust of the star Arcturus down to Earth and poured it in their son’s eyes. This dust granted their son the ability to see magic in all its forms. From thereon, the babe was given the name “Arcturus Emrys.”
Arcturus Emrys was brought into a world parallel to our own, a world of magic, where knowledge beyond was made known to him. He now teaches night courses on the Magical Studies track as an adjunct professor at the Cardiff Academy of Arcane Arts and Sciences. As his title, yr Ymholgar (“the Inquirer”) might suggest, he habitually takes peeks behind the curtain and buries his head in others’ private grimoires.
Be warned, as his adept spellcasting is matched only by his interest in sniffing out magical fraud. He finds himself kin with the dark magicians of old, ensuring the workings of the world remain well. Almost like a magic trick.
